Rachel Cohen
Rachel encountered Roots in the summer of 2018 while she was running programs around Israel-Palestine for university students trying to get a firsthand look at peacebuilding. The way that Roots brought some of the most hostile groups together to address some of the most contentious topics left her in awe of the organization and yearning to support its mission. Since then, she has completed a Msc Conflict Studies at the London School of Economics, where she focused on the role of civil society in peace processes, and in the summer of 2020, she wrote her master's dissertation on Roots' Youth Program. Now, still based in London, and working the rest of the time at an interfaith charity called the Faith and Belief Forum, Rachel is honoured to be Communications Manager for Roots, helping out with online events, research, donor relations, intern management and more.
