Marwa Dabbah
Marwa Dabbah is the Palestinian co-Director of Programs at Roots. She is invested in creating good neighborliness amongst the different populations in the region through education.
Marwa holds a bachelor's degree in sociology and anthropology from the University of Haifa, where she acquired a deep understanding of social and human processes. In addition, she completed a second bachelor's degree in teaching the Hebrew language from the Levinsky College of Education. She draws upon her knowledge base for her work in the fields of education and culture.
Marwa facilitates the improvement of communication and understanding between the Hebrew and Arabic speaking communities, translating from Hebrew to Arabic and from Arabic to Hebrew. For years, she joined researchers as a research assistant, publishing articles on various topics related to society and culture.
Marwa also works as a Hebrew language teacher and group facilitator, assisting in the understanding of Hebrew language and culture, and providing the necessary tools for improving social relations between the different communities in the region.
