Biography

Elijah is the President and Founder of the Roots campus affiliate Atidna International, the first and only nonprofit dedicated to bringing together Jews/Arabs and Israelis/Palestinians for dialogue and peacebuilding on college campuses. Leading both the Atidna International non-profit and an individual Atidna chapter at the University of Texas at Austin (the founding Atidna chapter), Elijah has personally overseen and led various joint dialogues and peace events between both communities. In the summer of 2022, Elijah devoted his summer to being an on-the-ground intern and volunteer for Shorashim at the Dignity Center in the West Bank where he engaged in various initiatives dedicated to peace, reconciliation and nonviolence. Elijah hopes to dedicate his life to the mission of unity and reconciliation between Jews/Israelis and Arabs/Palestinians, two peoples that he truly believes are one family.
