Eleftherios A. Michael (PhD)
Eleftherios A. Michael (PhD) is the Director of Diversity and International Services at the University of Baltimore. With 20+ years of well-rounded experience in Student Affairs, Academic Affairs, International and Global Education and Enrollment Management, his mission and vision is dedicated to serving students.
Over the years, he has developed and executed programmatic experiences, study abroad programs and retention plans for diverse student populations. Based on his research work in cross-cultural negotiations and conflict resolution, he has developed leadership approaches in establishing and sustaining strategic relationships with key internal and external partners for the learning interest of all student and learner populations.
He has trained hundreds of high school students, undergraduate and graduate students and community leaders in more than a dozen counties with leadership skills and cross-cultural competencies. Institutions he has served and/or taught in include George Mason U., American U., George Washington U., Notre Dame of Maryland U., and the University of Baltimore.
