George Douglas

George Douglas is Chief Investment Officer and Managing Principal of SSI Investment Management, an institutional investment manager based in Southern California.

George served for several years on the executive committee of Presbyterians for Middle East Peace, an advocacy group within the Presbyterian Church (USA) that supports Palestinian/Israeli peacemaking based on three core principles: embracing coexistence, people-to-people contact and cooperation, and the empowerment of people of good will on both sides of the conflict. George has been to Israel and the West Bank several times, and is an active supporter of the Israeli charity Save a Child’s Heart and the Israel-based Christian mission group Shevet Achim, which brings children from The Gaza Strip, Iraqi Kurdistan, and Syria to Israel for life-saving heart surgeries.
